Home Prices in Carmel Valley Feb 2014Home Prices for Carmel Valley showed mixed results depending on the type of property being sold.


Detached homes in the 92130 zip code of San Diego took a hit in the Median Price and number of homes sold compared to the previous year and previous month.

However, the average days on the market for homes sold in Carmel Valley (92130) continues to decline with a whopping 35.294% decrease as compared to last year.  This is the one category where red figures are a positive thing!


Attached homes (condos/townhomes) sold in Carmel Valley CA had a great month in February.  

Median prices increased 6.026% compared to January 2014 and 10.5% as compared to Feb 2013.

Just like with detached homes, the average days on the market for attached homes in San Diego (92130) also saw a large decrease going from 52 days a year ago to only 29 in February 2014.

Despite the lack of positive figures in February 2014 for sales in Carmel Valley, the overall “health” of the housing market in this area continues to improve. A quick look at this previous blog will show you where we were April 2011 and in 2010.  I’m sure we would all agree that the improvement is definitely something to smile about.

Home Prices in San Diego County saw a small decrease for both attached and detached homes homes sold Feb 2014 as compared to January but both saw a double digit increase since February 2013.

Though the number of detached homes sold February 2014 decreased, the total volume increased slightly compared to last month as well as last year.

A total of 721 condos and townhomes were sold in San Diego County for February 2014, an increase of 5.5% from January.

Homes were only on the market 54 and 56 days for detached and attached homes respectively.
