Home Prices in Carmel Valley (92130) March 2014Home Prices for Carmel Valley showed continued strength for both attached and detached properties sold March 2014


Detached homes in the 92130 zip code of San Diego showed an increase of 23.392% in the  Median Price as compared to last year  but took a hit on number of homes sold compared to the previous year and previous month.

However, the average days on the market for homes sold in Carmel Valley (92130) declined once again by a whopping 36.364% decrease as compared to last month.  This is the one category where red figures are a good thing!


Attached homes (condos/townhomes) sold in Carmel Valley CA had a great month in March.  

Median prices increased 0.169% compared to February 2014 and 2.918% as compared to March 2013.

Just like with detached homes, the average days on the market for attached homes in San Diego (92130) also saw decrease going from 59 days a year ago to 52 in March 2014.

The seller’s market that many of us have experience is thriving in Carmel Valley, where the overall “health” of the housing market icontinues to improve. A quick look at this previous blog will show you where we were April 2011 and in 2010.

Home Prices in San Diego County saw an increase for both attached and detached homes homes sold March 2014 as compared to February but both saw a double digit increase since February 2013.

The number of detached homes sold March 2014 increased. That coupled with the higher median price resulted in highe total volume as compared to last month as well as last year.

A total of 827 condos and townhomes were sold in San Diego County for March  2014, an increase of 14.702@ from February

Homes were only on the market 52 and 50 days for detached and attached homes respectively.
